Located in Jennings, LA, Jennings American Legion Hospital consists of multiple medical departments, from cardiology to OBGYN to surgical care, as well as an efficient and caring Emergency Department.
We are constantly adding new facilities to further aid our patients in leading healthy lives right here at home. This includes a new patient tower, increasing the amount of patient rooms, as well as a new OBGYN facility offering services from preventive care to pregnancy to post-natal care.
Our cardiac catheterization lab offers multiple cardiac procedures that would typically only be available in larger hospitals miles from home. Capable of performing nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms and coronary angiograms, our cardiac catheterization lab provides the care you need right here at home.

Jennings American Legion Hospital (JALH) is a 49-bed non-profit acute care hospital located in Jennings, Louisiana. In the early 1950s, in response to community need, the membership of James O. Hall Post 19 American Legion committed to establishing a hospital, ultimately dedicated and operational in December 1960. The hospital continues its commitment to patients though a mission-driven culture of excellence. JALH is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services.
